التطرف والارهاب
لا يعرف دين او طائفة

لقد شهد العالم العربي والاسلامي والاجنبي عدة عمليات ارهابية وحشية لم يسبق لها مثيل في عصرنا الحالي، خلال الاشهر القليلة الماضية راح ضحيتها الاف الارواح البريئة من الاطفال والنساء والمسنين. فمن حوادث الارهاب في الاردن وسوريا ولبنان والكرادة في العراق الى حوادث باريس واورلاندو، بروسل و هيوستن ، ميونخ الدمويه، التي يصعب القلم عن وصفها والنفس عن تعبيرها لما تكنه من وحشية الى العملية الارهابية على المصلين الابرياء في مسجد كيبك سيتي في كندا.

ونحن على معرفة ويقين بمن هم الارهابيون الذين صدروا لنا الموت والدم والمقابر والمآتم. فمن المنسقين الفاشلين سياسيا و ماديا و اجتماعيا و فكريا و يريدون ابراز شخصيتهم و مركزهم من خلال التخطيط الارهابي، الى الممولين الذين يخشون على مناصبهم و يستخدمون الارهابيين لبث الفتنة و التحريض في بلدانهم لقمع معارضيهم، و الى المروجين وتحوّل التحريض الخفي إلى خطبات دينية وسياسية على المنابر وعبر شاشات الفضائيات وبمكبرات الصوت في المساجد وصدى عواء ذئاب غابات الكراهية والحقد الصادرة من عقولها المشفرة والمظللة بلوثات الهوس الجنسي الأنثوي والغلماني السرابي الموهوم في فردوس مفقود أصلاً، وشخصنا تلك الكتائب المعتوهة وهي تنادي: أذبحوهم أنحروهم أقتلوهم أحرقوا الأرض تحت أقدامهم وأمسحوهم من على وجه الأرض.

وكل هذا العويل والعطش لشرب الدماء وقلب موازين العقل البشري السوي بعلم سلطات الكراهية وأمام أنظارهم ومسامعهم كأدلة دامغة وصريحة ومشرعة بأرتكاب مجزرة الكرادة من قبل داعش الأرهابي لقتل أكثر من 400 شهيد حرقاً وهدم أكثر من ست عمارات وحرق عشرات السيارات ومن بداخلها من بشر،كما فعلوا بمعاذ الكساسبة وللاسف فلقد كان أختيار منظمة الموت الداعشية للكرادة بالذات وبهذا المكان لأنها من أجمل مناطق بغداد المكتظة بالأسواق والكافتريات والمطاعم والمولات الثرية والأنيقة، وتكون أكثر أزدحاماً في ليالي شهر رمضان وبعد منتصف الليل ولتحقيق اكبر عدد من الضحايا الابرياء. وأصبحت التفجيرات والقتل والعنف مسألة روتينية معتادة حيث بات معدل الحوادث في العالم تزيد عن ثلاث عمليات الارهابية يومياً. وفي تفجيرات الكرادة بالذات فلقد أستخدمت داعش سلاح التدمير الشامل، وذلك لتحقيق اكثر خراب وتدمير على البشر بقتل وجرح أكثر من 400 ضحية، مما يجعل المرء التسائل أن كانت هنالك حلقة مفقودة وهو عدم وجود قيادة أمنية حقيقية مهنية محترفة تشير بوصلتها للعراق، او لربما ضعف الأجهزة الأمنية نتيجة التجاذبات السياسية والطائفية. والمشكلة في العراق كما يبدو أنها مشكلة سياسية وليست أمنية فحسب، وتشبث بعض أصحاب القرار الفاشلين من السياسيين بكرسي الحكم بالرغم عما يحدث من خراب ودمار في بلدانهم.

ففي العراق كشفت أجهزة الامن العراقية عن المتفجرات وملف أستيرادها وتبين أختراقها الفساد الأداري والمالي ويبدو أن الحكومة لا زالت تستخدم أجهزة كشف المتفجرات الغير الصالحة للعمل وتعتمدها في نقاط التفتيش، كما ان للخلايا النائمة من بعض الشباب المغسولين الدماغ والمتطرفين او المتعاطفين مع داعش بواسطة سبل التواصل الاجتماعي والفيسبوك والمنتشرين في جميع انحاء العالم، دور كبير في تنفيذ عدد كبير من تلك العمليات الارهابية.

داعش على وشك الانهيار في الموصل اخر جحر لهم في العراق وهم على اخر نفس في سوريا والنصر والفرج للمظلومين باذن الله قريب. القتل الجماعي او المفرد حرام ثم حرام ثم حرام، ولقد حرم الله القتل في جميع الاديان السماوية، والتطرف. والارهاب مهما كان نوعه لا يعرف دين او طائفة، والسلام برئ منهم. اقول قولي هذا بكل الحب والغيره على بلدي الثاني العراق الحبيب وسائر بلاد العرب وعلى جميع الارواح البريئة في العالم والتي اطاح بها الارهاب والارهابيون دون اي ذنب او خطيئة، وليس مذهبي سوى الحب والغيرة والنقد البناء.

The Liberals Road to
Election 2018

The latest polls indicate that if an election were to be held today, Kathleen Wynne's Liberal government would lose badly…! However, let me address the elephant in the room, for those who believe that her polices are wrong and some too costly, I believe her intentions for Ontario are good and her policies can be fixed. The oppositions are putting lots of pressure on the Ontario Liberal party and making it hard for them to govern, however Wynne's liberal government appears not to be surrendering to the pressure or voices of the nee-Sayers.

Premier Wynne is a dynamic leader, who sincerely cares about the people of Ontario, and she strongly believes and understands their dilemmas and hardships. Unlike the opposition who has to play catch up, the liberals understand their challenges and are placing many worthwhile initiatives for people who need them, even though some of these policies are now harder to achieve coming closer to an election. As a matter of fact, Premier Wynne has an obligation to set these policies right, and that is exactly her approach, from health care, job creations, supporting science and innovation, student funding, to tackling Ontario's high energy and electricity rates. Perhaps, that's why her government recently launched a campaign to reduce hydro and gas rates throughout the province and bring legislation to prohibit hydro companies from disconnecting anyone in Ontario during the cold winter months for non payments of their electricity bills.

I applaud Premier Wynne on these enormous tasks… as the price of power does not come by waving a magic wand. However, the liberals now seem to be in full election mode, and are carrying out a province wide campaign, depending mainly on the ethnic media, who they have a great relationship and respect for, to carry their message and spreading their red-book gospel to the voters. For Wynne government to pick up any steam and rise again in the polls, they need to do much more than what they have been offering the people from pieces of crumbs and petty saving. Premier Wynne needs to rise up and take charge, and convince her voters that Ontario's economic despair will not go away and not be repeated.

Education reforms have to be implemented where religious beliefs are respected; she also needs to increase the development and creation of jobs through massive infrastructural spending, and all this should and must be reflected in her government's next budget. Giving a piece of crumb to a hungry family by reducing hydro rates is not going to go very far, when many Ontarians are unemployed and have no income to pay their bills. Premier Wynne may have good and honorable intentions, however, honorable as they maybe, the road to hell is full of good intenders…! What Kathleen Wynne needs to know is; Bold steps, charisma and compassion is what Ontario needs for it to continue to be; A place to stand and a place to grow.

Tax Refund Increase for
Ontario First-time Homebuyers

If People across Ontario are worried they won't be able to afford their first house or condo in today's real estate market. Worry no more, as Charles Sousa, Minister of Finance, along with Chris Ballard, Minister of Housing, announced a proposal to double the maximum Land Transfer Tax refund for first-time homebuyers. Sousa's announcement was part of the 2016 Ontario Economic Outlook and Fiscal Review plan. If passed, this proposal means eligible homebuyers in Ontario would pay no Land Transfer Tax on the first $368,000 of the cost of their first home, starting January 1, 2017. "We know that rising home values are a good thing for the provincial economy, but also a concern for a growing number of Ontarians.

The government is committed to supporting an affordable and stable housing market while balancing the concerns of homeowners, first-time homebuyers and renters." Charles Sousa said. Soon after the province introduced the tax refund, designed to help first time home buyers, two major banks announced it was raising its mortgage rates. Even though this may be unrelated, experts agree that the economic environment is stressful for buyers. In 2015, 99 per cent of single-family residence transactions in Ontario were below $2 million. And the average purchase price for a first-time homebuyer in Ontario in 2015 was $375,000.

Tim Hudak, the new CEO of the Ontario Real Estate Association, has been calling for land-transfer tax breaks, in order to help first-time homebuyers get out of their "parents house "or out of their apartment into a place of their own. As the current land transfer tax rates and their brackets haven't changed much since 1989. When the price brackets were first created, a $400,000 was considered the starting point for a luxury property. Today, a $400,000 home is no longer considered the benchmark for a luxury property in most parts of Ontario. Also keep in mind, that buyers of multi-residential buildings such as triplexes, commercial, industrial or agricultural properties will be required to pay 2% tax rate on any purchase price over $400,000.

And eligibility for the Land Transfer Tax refund is proposed to be restricted to Canadian citizens and permanent residents. First-time homebuyers who become Canadian citizens or permanent residents within 18 months of purchasing a home could also apply for the refund.
